How to Play

EasyWordle is a word guessing game - the app selects a “scrabble-approved” word based on the number of letters the user chooses and the user guesses the correct word using hints. Here is a short description of how to play (also available in-app):

  1. Select the number of letters in the word you want to play. Currently the app supports 3-letter, 4-letter, 5-letter and 6-letter words.
  2. You can change scroll mode, sound on/off, dark mode and choose between easy/difficult words in the settings (accessible from home screen and play area).
  3. a) Scroll mode - if it is ON, every word gets 20 tries to guess the word. If it is OFF, every word gets 6 tries to guess the word.

    b) Sound - if it is ON, every action is accompanied by a sound. If it is OFF, the actions are silent.

    c) Dark mode - if it is ON, the play area is uses dark theme. If it is OFF, the play area uses light theme

    d) Easy/Difficult - if it is set to Easy, the words do not have repeating characters. Eg:EARTH. If it is set to Difficult, the words have repeating characters Eg: SHEET.

  4. In the play screen, the player board allows multiple tries to guess the word. After each guess, the color of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the word. Please see the image for more info. If an invalid word is guessed, the player board denotes it is an invalid word and asks the user to retry. Each successful play increases score by 100, each unsuccessful play gives the option to retry guessing the same word or move to the next word.
  5. Special plays - the game has three special plays
  6. a) Hint - Use “Hint” to reveal one letter in the correct place

    b) Dart - Use “Dart” to remove three incorrect letters

    c) Skip - Use “Skip” to skip the word with no penalties

    Each user starts with a default number of special plays and can get more with daily gifts, shares, store or by playing ads.

​Is the App secure?

Yes! All critical information is encrypted in every transaction run through the App and the mobile Web App, and no personally identifying information is stored on your mobile device. However, mobile devices do offer you the ability to store your login information for apps installed on the device.If you choose to store your login information, any person who has access to your mobile device can access your account.
